From December 2024, Dr. med. et phil. nat. Nicola Andina complement the Prolindo team as a haematologist and internist. We are delighted that he will be joining our team as a partner of Prolindo. He is an internist and experienced haematologist. He was a senior haematologist at the University Hospital in Bern for many years. This means that haematological and haemato-oncological patients with coagulation disorders, myeloma, lymphoma, leukaemia and other haematological diagnoses will continue to receive excellent holistic, personal and professional care at Prolindo.
We are delighted to announce that Dr Alexander Heini has been a partner of Prolindo since 1 July 2024. After completing his specialised training as an oncologist, he has decided to continue working in the Lindenhof Group and as a permanent member of Prolindo. He will continue to pursue his areas of specialisation, particularly in haemato-oncology, both clinically and in research. We are delighted that he has decided to take this step and continue to complement our team.
We are pleased about the further development of the professional specialisation in our team.
We congratulate Dr. med. Sabine S. Bühler! She has successfully completed her training as a specialist in palliative medicine with the Master of Science in Palliative Care at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg im Breisgau in 2023.
This enables her to support our focus on people-oriented medicine and care in an extraordinary way. We care for our patients from diagnosis and, if desired, until the end of life. This means that we have developed specific conversation offers. We advise on "patient competence and complementary medicine" and offer structured "end-of-life talks". The continuous and personal support over a longer period of time reduces a lot of stress for many patients.
We were very pleased that Alain Berset and his team chose the Berne Oncology Center of the Lindenhof Group to give the “Day of the Sick” its importance. We are honored that we were able to show our passion for patients and the high level of expertise with the premises, which have a positive influence on people with illnesses and encourage them to live. Since 2020, we have been a further training centre in all areas of medical oncology (all organ systems, including haemato-oncology) category B. The environment of the Oncology Centre Berne of the Lindenhof Group offers an ideal learning environment in all the required areas of medical oncology, namely in all organ systems, including haemato-oncology.;
In recognition of special commitment and expertise in continuing medical education, Prolindo was nominated by its training residents and awarded the SIWF Award.
